Black Swan

"His films are immaculately calibrated surrenders in which his heroes splinter and break upon the rocks of their own consuming obsessions." - Thomas Shone; http://nymag.com/movies/features/70817/

  1. did we ever discuss Rhinoceros by Ionesco? I once had a dream I was turning into a crustacean, the dream was narrated by a female computer voice, which at the time, I interpreted to be my sub-conscious. The voice was calling attention to the fact that my skin had become like armor, impenetrable... I believe that if Ionesco sat and witnessed 1 city corner for an hour, he would write a new play about crustaceans and clams. If from the sea we came... we have surely returned home. We must commit ourselves to FEELING, the ecstasy in a deep breath, the purity of day's first light as it penetrates the eye; seeking consciousness, it awakens us with its quest, and we are filled with wonder!
